Ahh, the ideal gas law. Gotta love it. Anyone who knows me knows I love
PV=nRT. It alone got me through AP Chem, and Chem A71 here at NU. I know
nothing else about chemistry. Nothing. But good old PV=nRT is so dang
useful, I survived.
Why am I talking about a law of chemistry? Because somehow MECHANICAL
ENGINEERS MANAGED TO SCREW IT UP!! Here I am, doing my thermodynamics
homework, trying to use PV=nRT, and they screwed it up!
For M.E.'s, it PV=mRT, where m is the mass of the stuff, and R is devided
by the molar mass. And then you divide a bunch of crap, and you get a
little v, meaning volume per unit mass. THEY RECKED MY FAVORITE EQUATION!!
Pv=RT??? who the hell can use THAT piece of shit equation??!!?!?
THEN!!, then they use meters^3 for volume instead of Liters, and kg
instead of grams. ACK!!! DAMN YOU!!!!! DON'T YOU KNOW WHO I AM?? YOUR
TECHNIQUE IS NO GOOD!!
